guys calm down. Eli is going to be fine in time. He will put together a complete season this year and the giants will go 10-6 and win the wild card. As for Coughlin, I think an 8-year old would be better.
Yah i don't know what their plan is.
As long as Eli gets to use his daddy and his brother's free pass, the Giants will just be ';also-rans';. If they bence him for a game or two, to let him know that he CAN be replaced, he might start playing with a sense of urgency.
With or without Tiki, they might make the playoffs, but they wont win a playoff game.

No the Giants shouldnt be too bad. I think they will rally and make the playoffs. They are not that bad. They still have Eli Manning, Jeremy Shockey, and Plaxico Burress. So the offence is still in good shape. The defence is led by Michael Strahan. I Think they will go 9-7 and still make the playoffs because the NFC is a weak conference.

I think you are right on the mark with blaming Coughlin..
the best thing the Giants have going for them is their front line..on Defense..
but I feel every single unit other than that has question marks..
people expect big things from your big running back Brandon Jacobs..Brandon is tough..but he has still not proven that
he is capable of sustaining a seasons pounding..
I think every team in the NFC east has improved their defense..and Coughlin brings so much of the teams problems on... himself by being so difficult..
I hear that Bill Cowher wants to get the Charlotte job if John Fox has problems..this year..Fox would be the right guy to replace Coughlin...good luck
The Giants wont be as good as they were last year and they wont be as bad as you think they will!!......The Giants are going to be mediocre. I think the whole season they will be neck and neck with the Eagles. I think Tom Caughlin wasnt a right fit for the Giants and at the end of the season he will get fired.....I think a good fit will be Cowher

that's a good question, because for the last year or two i have been preaching that running backs are a dime a dozen. you used to call any running back a star that could top the one thousand yard mark. i remember in the early 90's when there were only 7 runners with 1000yds in a year. now, you are a bad runner if you don't get it. things have changed so much over the years. i don't think the giants can do it with brandon jacobs. maybe they'll grab ricky !!! ha ha....i am feeling for ya on this one. my broncos had to pick up travis henry. i hate that mother....*****
7-9 Because Manning will have an above average year and their defense is ok, but they lack difference makers on both sides of the ball.

the giants will not be as bad as everybody thinks? if anything, they will be better. tiki barber carried this team throughout the season and eli was just a figure that handed off hte ball. But now that tiki is gone, eli will have to carry more of the burden of making this team great. I dont think that his brother or his dad had someone to rely on the way eli had tiki. Now with tiki gone, eli will finally evolve into the QB that everyone expects with a last name like his. Especially now that he has a new QB coach, look for Eli to be mistaken for Peyton sometimes. If you look at history, Archie Manning had a terrible team, he had to carry the burden of the entire team and he did. Peyton Manning has a weak defense and a rookie RB with an aging RB. Peyton Manning took up the burden. But with Eli, you put him in a position with tiki that all he really had to do was hand off the ball. The defense of the giants isn't bad either. The reason why they may look bad is because of possesion time. The Giants are usually on defense cuz they relied only on tiki and teams will eventually get the clue that your only going to run the ball. Now, the time will not be so one dimensional. Teams will need to prepare for a pass threat as well as a run threat.Now, look for him to follow the footsteps of his brother and be great. The Giants will go atleast 9-7 and just get into the playoffs. In the playoffs they may go to the second round and then get knocked out. But then next year, they will be Superbowl Contenders. I put money on it.
I think the biggest problem with the Giants is Eli Manning. His brother and daddy he's not. Throw in Tiki retiring isn't going to help the situation.
Don't get me wrong. As a football fan I would love Eli to carry on a certain football legacy. I just don't think the kid has it.
