I wouldn't. Forte hasn't really looked good so far this season and five of his remaining regular season games are against tough defense - Arizona, Philadelphia, twice against Minnesota, and Green Bay, as well as two other teams he is going to play against aren't that bad either on defense - San Fransisco and Baltimore.
All those teams mentioned are solid matchups so I would keep Barber.

No, do not trade anyone for Forte. Barber is good enough for you and your others seem really good already. Now if Forte gets at least 15pts this week I would think about it a little but if Barber has a decent week then don't do it at all. I have Forte and he has been killing my team every week. Averaging only 7pts per game. Hell Brian westbrook is hurt half the time and he is at like 8 to 10 pts. In the big picture Forte has been a disappointment to all fantasy owners this year.
You shouldn't trade Barber for Forte. You shouldn't even trade a backup kicker on a bye week for Forte.
All day i would take that , forte is struggling but he will still be a top RB when he starts to show up again.
I would NOT make the trade. For all the reasons Coconut guy suggests + when healthy Barber is terrific!
