Women getting barber trims?

amazed to see more women get trims and tidy up cuts on long and short hair in barbers as i pass sometimes. Is this common all over in uk towns ect. Any lady here ever tried a trim in a barbers before? Last lady i saw was a long blonde haired just ends trimmed after her husband/partner i was amazed she was brave enough to trust the young barber ( male)Women getting barber trims?
Years ago I used to get mine cut by a barber and he did it really good, I tried a few hairdressers even very expensive ones and they were not as good. I was having mine cut by a woman only she has left the shop, so I might try the barber again, they do cut very well, if you look all the top stylists are men.Women getting barber trims?
When I had short (and I mean US Marines style) short hair, I'd use a cheap-and-cheerful barber shop to get the sides clipped down.

When it comes down to it, unless you have something high-maintenance, hair is hair and your gender doesn't really come into it. I was turned away from one gents' place because they only cut ';mens' hair';, which i thought was a bit silly. Also, one ';high-end'; salon in town tried to tell me an undercut would cost me 拢60.

I say go for barbers all the way!
I get mine cut in the barbers all the time, cos my daughter is the barber.
cheap skates!
It's cheaper than the salon which would set you back around 拢25 for a trim, a barber will do it for 拢5, makes sense to me :-)
I wouldnt
it,s safe enough every barber has the same training as hairstylist
I thought barber shops were exclusively for men?!?

I've never heard of that happening before.

I'll have to have a look at barber shops in Liverpool
It's practical but I do not like the feeling of having a barber cut my hair. I still like having it in salons with shampoo, hair blowers, neck massages, showbiz gossips, etc.
I've never had it done, but it doesn't surprise me a bit. Barbers are very well-trained, and women's beauty salons don't charge for just a trim. You'd have to pay for an entire shampoo and haircut. So a barber makes perfect sense. I'd do it.
Being thrifty is always smart. Barbers are highly trained and qualified to cut our hair. There's no waiting or double booking. I choose the barber for their professionalism. Their professionalism shows a mutual respect for time.
