The Hunchback of Notre Dame vs. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street?

I just watched a fun edited trailer on youtube of Sweeney Todd, Disney Hunchback style. I love both and always thought that there was something similar about them. They are two great musicals. I want to see what you think is better. For the following character match-ups say who you think is better, and then at the end say which movie you think is better in general.





Quasimodo vs. Sweeney Todd


-Men who are mistreated by society, and are regarded as monsters. One physically looks like a monster, and the other is internally a monster because of what happened to him.





Frollo vs. Judge Turpin


-Two evil judges who use their positions of power to try and help cleanse the world, but their methods are extremely dark. Also both fall in love with a young and beautiful woman and first try to fight against it but then submit.





Esmerelda vs. Johanna


-Two beautiful young women that the evil judges fall for against their better judgement. Also both fall in love with a handsome man, Phoebus and Anthony Hope respectively.





Phoebus vs. Anthony Hope


-Two handsome men that fall in love for two women that the corrupt judges love and try to protect the women they love from the judges. Also both return to their respective city after being gone for a long time. Phoebus is a soldier and Anthony is a sailor.





Clopin vs. Singor Adolfo Pirelli


-Two lively men that make a show out of everything. They also both wear colorful circus like outfits. Both also show a darker side. Clopin's song about hanging Phoebus and Quasimodo. Pirelli's is more noticeable since he was shown to abuse Tobias Ragg, his kid assistant, and also tried to blackmail Sweeney Todd.The Hunchback of Notre Dame vs. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street?
In general... i am one of the biggest sweeney todd fans EVER!!! SWEENEY TODD ROCKS!!! i would choose every thing that was on sweeney todd because its my favorite movie and the whole thing rocked!

absolutely yes. i love both. they're both on my five fave movies ever. sweeney tod dis number 2, while the hunchback is number 4, so Sweeney todd. buts still both rock.
